Vasilis Petrou was born in Larnaka, Cyprus in 1993.  His love for photography was clear from an early age as he was enjoying using his family cameras during the vacational trips and in every available opportunity.  As he grew older the passion only got bigger and photography is a part of his daily life.  Before studying photography in IEK ESP+ Vasilis Petrou received a degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2018 and an MSc in Digital Media & Computational Intelligence from the Computer Science Department of the same university.
